Still in School, Still Learning...

See the little indentation near the rim of this little soap dish? I made this in the 2nd grade and I can still remember how I couldn't make it right. I overworked this trying to make it right and finally had to quit. (Hmmm, now the Barbie Manifesto is starting to make sense)... My mother used this soap dish in her bathroom until she died. It is now mine. For all the things my mother threw away it seems funny that this is one thing she would keep. Who knew that so many years down the road I would touch clay nearly every day? Thanks mom. All is forgiven about my missing pogo stick.

I have one of those little indents on my head. It's how the ratty thoughts escape through my fingertips.

What a nice story! I understand that this dish is very meaningful to you. This blog is a creative way to display your marvelous talents. I think the soap dish is quite good for a second grader! Nice job.

What value a soapdish, eh? I'll bet it is absolutely priceless now.
