Once more I find myself making teapots, this time I may have gone too far. I mean, teapots AND dragonflies? Well, it's too late now, the damage is done.
I feel it is time once more to de-stash my various supplies of crafty items, maybe the grandchildren would like some. I'll have to run that by my daughter though...how quickly we accumulate too much "stuff".

It's Josh again! Nice teapot. :)
I love dragonflies (ceramics, teapots & tea and fiber arts, for that matter). You know the ancient Japanese believed dragonflies carry the spirit into the other world and that is what they do when they are hovering around. I used them as a theme for my wedding, and always imagined I'd get a dragonfly tattooed on my right hip, except I'm not into having a real tattoo . . . maybe if I were younger.
Beautiful pot. I'd love to see it finished.

Thanks for telling me that about the Japanese dragonfly idea Donna, I didn't know!
The teapot just got glazed, it will be fired in a few weeks.
How about a temporary tattoo??!!
I hope to see your work in person at Sanchez soon!
Thanks Josh! I can't seem to stop with the clay...except for that darned minigama sitting in the garage...I can't even look at it, I don't know what to do with it.
